ABSTRACT

A variety of graphical invariants have been described and tested, offering lots of applications in the fields of nanochemistry, computational networks and in different scientific research areas. One commonly studied group of invariants is the topological index, which allows to research the chemical, biological, and physical properties of a chemical structure. Topological indexes are numerical quantities that can be used to describe the properties of the molecular graph. In this article, we draw from the analytically closed formulas of certain molecular structures of coronavirus such as Ribavirin, Sofosbuvir and Oseltamivir by calculating temperature based topological indices.

ABSTRACT

The novel coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a mutating and recombining pandemic that potentially spreading through an infected person in droplet-generated forms that have affected more than 200 countries and endanger the entire globe. There is no clear strategy for the care of COVID-19 cases. Moreover, experts across the globe are working actively to develop medicinal or anti-virus drugs. On the basis of recent clinical findings and recommendations, the study examined a variety of new medications that have shown antiviral activity against SARS-CoV-2, among other drugs, antimalarial medications Chloroquine (CQ) and Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) have gained significant publicity to have promising effects against SARS-CoV-2. Linking a bioactive substance to a biocompatible polymer typically provides various concerns, such as improved drug solubilization, improved modification, precise restriction, and controlled discharge. An enormous number of medical analyses have confirmed that the characteristics of medical drugs have a nearby connection with their atomic structure. Medication properties can be acquired by considering the atomic structure of relating drugs. The calculation of the topological index of a medication structure empowers researchers to have a superior comprehension of the physical science and bio-organic attributes of drugs. Ev-degree and ve-degree based topological indices are two novel degrees based indices as of late defined in graph theory. Ev-degree and ve-degree based topological indices have been defined as corresponding to their relating partners. In this paper, we have computed topological indices based on ev-degree and ve-degree for the Hydroxyethyl Starch and Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ-HEC) bioconjugate molecular structure.

ABSTRACT

Workplace friendship is becoming a complex phenomenon in a working environment that signifies a need for a better understanding of when and how workplace friendship has positive and negative outcomes, specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the social exchange theory, this study aims to determine the impact of workplace friendship on organizational identification and its subsequent influence on job embeddedness, job performance, and employee wellbeing, along with the moderating role of political skills in all relationships. Using a self-administered questionnaire, the final data from 206 hotel employees were collected during three waves of COVID-19. The results highlighted that workplace friendship negatively influences organizational identification in the first wave, while organizational identification negatively relates to job performance in the first- and second waves. Moreover, organizational identification mediates the relationships of workplace friendship with employee outcomes, whereas political skills also moderate the relationships in all three waves.

ABSTRACT

Speaking ability is regarded as among the essential aspects of language development. Oral examination appeared challenging to evaluate due to the presence of human evaluators. The speaking method depends on the test’s reliability, determined by the raters’ scores. The current study is aimed at evaluating the speaking test’s interrater reliability utilized to measure the speaking performance of Common First Year (CFY) students during remote learning. The data were obtained from 56 EFL learners using a scoring sheet and rubrics. Eight raters were responsible for rating the study. The speaking test’s reliability was estimated using quantitative data analysis. Correlation coefficients and the Bland-Altman test were employed to assess raters’ agreement. SPSS was utilized to analyze the data in this investigation. The study’s findings suggested that the speaking exam used in the CFY program during remote learning has shown some reliability on correlations and acceptable norms on the Bland-Altman test.

ABSTRACT

In recent years, the concepts of human resource management (HRM) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) have gained significant focus across industries. The role and implications of CSR are vital for organizational success;similarly, HRM plays a vital role in understanding, developing, and implementing CSR strategies. Therefore, we claimed that the nexus of HRM and CSR is worthwhile to study and relevant in the current pandemic situation. Despite recent calls about the role of human resource management (HRM) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) in achieving sustainable performance, a few studies have investigated their role combinedly in the hospitality industry, especially in a cross-cultural context. Therefore, the present study addresses the current lack of comparative research about the impact of HRM and CSR on sustainable performance in the hospitality industry of Pakistan, the UK, and Italy and shows the mediating role of HRM in such a relationship. A quantitative methodology is applied to the survey of the employees from 354 Pakistani, 438 British, and 520 Italian hotels working in three-, four-, and five-star hotels. The results showed a positive correlation between CSR, HRM, and sustainable performance. Moreover, the results also indicated significant differences among the three countries analyzed concerning the mediating role of HRM in this relationship.
